Adult dogs are individuals and their food requirements may vary depending
on age, breed, size, activity and environment. Use the feeding suggestions
as a guide for best determining the appropriate amount of food. Observe
your dog’s weight and regulate the amount of food accordingly. If ever
in doubt, consult your veterinarian.
Adults: Depending on breed, dogs mature to adulthood between seven and
ten months. The quality of food your adult dog will eat to maintain optimum
body condition will vary based on age, activity, breed, size and environment.
Be your pet’s best friend and do not allow your dog to become overweight.
Switching to PetGuard: When introducing your pet to a new food, mix the
new food with the current food with decreasing amounts of the previous
food over a seven to ten day period. This helps avoid digestive problems
that can be caused by abruptly changing your pet’s diet.
Remember the water! Be sure your dog always has plenty of fresh, clean
drinking water available.
